08 Micron Pen Pencil case. Today I will either go to a small local quiet autumn fair about 6 minutes away OR drive 45 minutes one way to the big, overstimulating but intellectually exciting
Brattleboro Literary Festival. Still haven't decided which one and it's 8:14 am. If I want to hear Robert Pinsky I'll have to leave at 9.

ha ha why would anyone want to draw their pencil case? must be the early hour...
Hi Suki!
I love this drawing a lot. First of all, the pencil case is very cool. I love the bend which had to add to the challenge of the drawing. Suki, it is as though you have a camera at the end of your pen.
Wonderful Work!
You've captured perfectly the way the case sits! I'm itching to fish out that micron pen ...
So cleaver to draw this and show what was inside too! Lovely.
Have fun whatever you decide to do, when I can't decide on what to do I toss a coin. I don't follow the coin, I follow how I feel about the outcome of the toss :-). Works like a charm everytime :-).
Suki, I like the bend in the pencilcase too! And the other details too. And I wonder where you headed at the end....
Andrea
Oh the suspense. Cant wait to find out which you picked.
Cool drawing of your pencil case.
Have fun today.
Your drawings lines just flow and you so well captured the feel to the bending of the case and it's contents.
Have fun where ever you go today!
Go for the BIG one! You'll surely find some inspiring stuff there. Can't wait to read which one you chose.
Pencil case is cute. At first glance I thought it was a ladies hat!?! Haha
Soulbrush, you are so funny.
Kim, I had to chuckle at your comment too. Aa camera at the end of my pen. Ha!
belle enchanted thanks.
Annie thanks for your tip around making choices. I didnt toss a coin but I did just sit with myself and have a serious talk about my energy and which one of these I'd regret not going to the most.
Andrea, thank you. So, in the end I drove 45 minutes to the literary festival. It takes place in downtown Brattleboro so there were events, readings lot of stuff plus all the shops to look in.
Cris thanks. So, I listened to a novelist and a poet read their work for an hour and a half including questions at the end. Excellent readers esp like the poet Robert Pinsky.
Lynn thanks re: flowing lines. After Pinsky I ate lunch, went into a bead store, a Mystery bookstore (only sells mysteries) and then an art gallery.
Katie Jane, that'd be a very cute ladies hat for an artist with the pencils and all right up there on the head. After shopping I returned to listen to a lecture by 4 different people about robert Frost. this was a bit overkill for my little brain as they spoke quite academically analyzing the poems. After that, I was ready to head home. I am very glad I went though. Brain stimulation.
Love microns and they deserve such a nice picture. Had to come check in and see where you ended up. Brain simulating and all your day sounded much more interesting than pushing pills!
Oh, I love Brattleboro and would hav chosen that also. I love your line drawings, they flow so well.
Your line drawing is great. You are able to show your subject with just a few well placed lines. I envy you that ability!
Hah Karen. So you are a pusher eh? I agree it was a beautiful day and nice to be out in it with like minded folks. Brattleboro is a trip for sure. I mean that in the 60's meaning of "trip."
Mim, there are several newish shops there now too. A fun place.
Janet, thanks for visiting and for your comment.
