Miscellany

You may or may not have noticed I have not kept up with my "Ponder this Sunday" routine. Too hard to think of ponderworthy themes on a regular basis but I will come in with some ponder this posts on occasion.
Too much sun?
A trip to the bookstore yielded two escape type mysteries and this surprise on a back shelf. Usually this little store's art books are mundane but WOW to this one. 500 handmade books. Inspiration and awe. Technically, most of these are way beyond my skill and imagination level. But I love to look.

No Suki you can never have too much sun, unless it hurts of course!
Nice to see your face! The fact you had some sun makes me happy.
Ok no pondering today, but I'm still tired so maybe for the better.
What a treasure book you have found!
Tomorrow I'm off to Singapore for 6 days, so I won't be much around. But I will take along my laptop so who knows ....maybe when they have wifi in the hotel.
Take care my dear friend!

suki, you have great color...I bet your Vitamin D count is high. So many woman avoid the sun and lose the benefits of warm sunshine. Thank you for the great evening walk in the woods...your photos were a perfect dialogue with nature.

Marianne, have a wonderful time in Singapore. I'd love to know what your job is that takes you flying all over the world. You are something else.

Mary, the book is fun. I flipped through it once quickly, and now am going through it more slowly.

Mary Ann, oh I do love the sun. But may be overdoing it. We've had so little I just want to soak it up now. Thanks re: woods walk. Be well, Suki

Hope you are using sunscreen. Sun is nice but skin cancer isnt. But it IS nice to soak up the sunshine. makes you feel more energetic. :))

Cris, yes sometimes use sun screen but not always. I have a lot of oil in my skin which helps i think but I did ovedo the other day and felt too hot. Thanks for your concern. ;)

Okay, now the worry comes out in me. How does your skin oil help protect you from the Ultra Violent rays!!! Pun intended. Be careful and smart!
You look like you are pondering hard...
But after reading your next post up I can see you not feeling like smiling. I hope we get to see your lovely face smiling soon.
and the photos here and above are lovely!

Lynn well, you are right my skin oil only keeps my skin moist. Not protected. Hmmm. It is one of my few weaknesses, to crave the sun. Hehe.
