Cris, the cover process was interesting. They let me try to come up with an idea and in the end I sketched out a sketch similar (but not with the bird) to the one on the cover. Then they got a cover artist to create it. I wanted it to look like stained glass as the woman, Damaris, in the story works with glass in part.
