Inspiration
Inspired by all the hanging artworks Sara has in her studio and home, I have made this hanging from a wire in the air collage. It is attached to a nail by wires. That too is something Sara does. This is the first, but I hope to fill my studio with hanging collages. They are very delicate and turn with the wind.
More pages from the altered board book. I have a title, inspired from and exactly like the title Britt-Arnheld used for one of her blog posts. I asked her if it was ok for me to use the title for my altered book: Where Inspiration Comes From. Isn't that lovely. Each set of pages will address one of the many places inspiration arises from.
I cut a window in one of the pages so you can look through it to another page.

Oh, I LOVE the little windows.
I love the little windows too. Everything is looking good. I like the idea of the wind collages. I also meant to comment on the book mark & Broach below. they both are cool.
Loving the hanging piece, the idea of it floating around in the breeze. Delicate and pretty. Like the way you use gold and delicate tissue... nice balance and contrast.
Nice to catch up with you again, I've been away for an age. (Did the picture arrive yet? I am so looking forward to your receiving it...!)
Happy Days Suki. Be well.
P.S. congrats on the new etsy shop... nice!
Oh... sooo cute!
I love them... especially because they move to the wind... sparkling and spreading happiness..
Your altered book is now a real window; with that thought-provoking name..
Thanks for sharing ... for inspiring us.
Hi Suki, the hanging is beautiful and the idea of fixing it like that so that it can be free, that is nice too.
Your book: Do you know that I thought it was pictures of rooms? A gorgeous impression, I just love these pages!
Andrea
Kikipotamus, thanks.
Cris thanks to you too.
Elizabeth good to hear from you. Picture has not arrived yet. I will email you when this happens and do a post on my new acquisition.
Thanks hb and andrea. Yes, in the photos they look like rooms to me, rooms with mottled walls.
Oh I am funny. I was looking at these and thinking you had painted the walls of your studio in these wonderful bright colors and hug these huge collages on the walls.
LOL
They work wonderfully as a book too. Still laughing at myself.
Lovely work Suki, all of it from bottom to top. Love the shields too.
That is funny Lynn. I wish I could paint the studio walls but they are made of some kind of horrible pressed wood with fragments of wood mashed together and well...I should try. Maybe i could paint over the wood.!!!
