Hot Wax treatment
All collages are "in process."
Today I melted beeswax and used it as "glue" to make two collages on my 8x8 pre-stretched canvases. I don't know if I like them or not but you can remelt the wax and redo the whole thing apparently. I need to buy a blowtorch, no wait, a heatgun might be better since I work in my kitchen. Meanwhile I used a quilting iron to try to smooth the wax. To one batch of wax I added some gold pigment which darkened the natural wax color. The wax effect looks lots messier than when I just glue the collage items on w/ white glue neatly and cleanly as I first envisioned in the layouts.
Now on to waxing my eyebrows.
