Encaustic tools

A slow cooker I purchased at a thrift store for $5. It had never been used!!
Bees Wax, unfiltered and untinted. I think if you filter it, it turns white.
A quilting iron, handy to smooth the wax between applications.

Yes, household tools, pots and pans, spatulas and so forth can be used to paint with wax. Warning, once used for wax they can't be used for anything else.
