I have 2 friends who have the hardest time making decisions. It's really painful for them.

I bought my car in 20 minutes, my camera in less than five minutes. For me, being hasty has often been my problem.

The right decision will present itself to you and I know you're wise enough to be able to recognize that.

I read Kate's comment about going with the first impulse. I've noticed that people who choose their paintings in that way are happy with them. Those who second guess themselves sometimes lose out to a more impulsive soul, then regret they let the "perfect" painting get away.

Probably not a fair comparison, since a house is a bigger investment and the place we live. Still, it's good you're making those offers. Good luck with it all!

Don't take too long to think about it. Usually, if I go with my first impulse, it is the right one. I think you put it in a nutshell when you said you had a fear of commitment. Just take the plunge and deal with the consequences. How bad could it be?

Anyway, I love your photos of the shore. I always miss it.

Ah... you need to send out POSITIVE vibes. Sometimes you have to leap at something or you never will get there. We have a ranch style home and its just right for us. Remember this.. IF you aways do what you've always done then you'll will always get what you've always got. Hoping for some positive news about those homes.

Love the photos, and relate as far as the weather (actually have been complaining about it endlessly, but, last week, saw my brother and his family who live up your way--clearly it's been worse, there)--but, fortunately, summer finally appears to have arrived, just over this past weekend down here.

I still think that your home is there somewhere and you will find it in time. The process is difficult and the reward should be worth it in the end. Good luck. Lovely photos!

oh, commitment. Often it means giving up some of the beloved independance. So the thing, we are committing to, we want it to be something great, something "worth it". And we know that the less we have, the less difficulties there will be to part with it. Hmmm. I'm not sure I'm making sense here to anybody except myself, LOL
