Even in high school Klee was one of my idols. I still have a little bk of his paintings I got back then. But I never would have connected the collage with his work though i know what you mean. Those paintings with the stipes of color perhaps and the kind of primitiveness of his figures and shapes. Or something. so I'm finding the restrictions both hard and a good challenge to do something else.sukipoethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09351851210507048174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34861243.post-75692207443303787752007-10-20T18:51:00.000-04:002007-10-20T18:51:00.000-04:00Thanks Cris and Lynn. I think the "rules" are just to keep the sizes manageable. It's not really about right and wrong. One collage goes to a museum, one will be for sale on the web for a month and 12 will be sent to other participants. I will receive 12 collages made by others.

Yep used my paper beads on several of the collages. Am glad I found a use for them so soon.sukipoethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09351851210507048174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34861243.post-89685665926433373562007-10-20T13:21:00.000-04:002007-10-20T13:21:00.000-04:00Suki, these are wonderful! I see you used your new found rolled jewels on top. Looks so oriental. You are creating wonderful things here. Keep at it. I think it is hard to conform to other peoples ideas of what is right or wrong. Look forward to seeing more.Cris, Artist in Oregonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15067969984221375853noreply@blogger.com
